Even under ideal circumstances, students will have gaps in their math skills, but the coronavirus has caused an unprecedented disruption to education. Math classes held in the fall will still assume a prerequisite level of competency, and students will still be expected to perform at grade level despite the disruptions.

This course is designed to help middle school students fortify their mathematical foundation, so they hit the ground running going into the upcoming school year. Enrollment is open to any middle school student going into 7th or 8th grade. Students will master the fundamental elements of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability during this course, and leave with a renewed confidence, ready to take on the mathematical challenges that await them next school year.
